
I have come to the conclusion I do not have discipline when it comes to food.
Last week I was on this health kick. The idea was to eat better to feel better. And if I dropped a few pounds I would welcome it with open thinner and healthier arms!
Day one
{Breakfast} Small bowl of cheerios with skim milk
{Lunch} 5oz portion of protein and veggies
{Lunch} 5oz portion of protein and veggies
{Dinner} 5oz portion of protein and veggies

Day two, three, four, five.
By Friday; day five, I felt like a million bucks! Less headaches, stomach aches, less sleepless nights etc... truth to be told I didn't crave any sugar's and I had less wild food cravings. I think this was all possible because there was not much going on, no events, family gatherings and so on. You think that feeling would be reason enough to stay on track.
I felt great!
Until Friday. Friday night we went away for the weekend with Mr. Ace's family. And let's just say if there is a family that can do FOOD it is the Asay's. The quality the quantity. The Asay's do it right. My plan was to stick to my regimen. Great plan, till I smelled FOOD. Bowling alley food non the less. {pictures to come} But this is no dog and chicken finger joint. This was a very posh place with divine sustenance, sliders, fish tacos, fresh guac and chips, cubano sandwiches {which were dynamite}. And I was a goner at that guacamole. Then I proceeded to eat everything in site {TWICE}. Oh it was so good and went down so well. We returned to the hotel where there were homemade brownies. Those went down perfectly with milk.
Then I was mad. Mad that I had lost all control. Went to bed. Woke up ready to hop back on. Ate cheerios they were fine. Ate berries they were delish. Walked away from the kitchen then the fun began. I say FUN because that is how I see food!

I need to do the whole MODERATION thing better.
{So here is my goal}
Instead of restricting all goodness, I will eat in smaller portions. Eat what I want but don't gorge! And then try to do some sort of exercise.
I will eat and then engage in physical activity... Brilliant
I will EAT for FUN and WORKOUT to EAT

Hahahaha this reminded me:
Remember when we did the Isagenix 9 day cleanse together?.....remember when we were on our couch in Belmont talking about cafe rio salads? And suddenly it was a mad dash out the door with you almost taking out my left arm as I jumped in your jeep and we sped off. Then somehow, within minutes, those heavenly salads were sitting in front of our faces. eh, we did make it to day 7, that has to count for something right? haha
How is he? I'm having serious pains.... please tell me hes doing well!
