Mackay and I got to go to Tahiti with the Asay's for 10 days. It was so beautiful and most of all relaxing. And here it is...
Mack and I waiting in LA at budget for our Grand Am. We had a 12 hour lay over and we thought is would be a good day to explore.
Mack map quested the coolest Farmers Market/Outdoor Mall. I was absolutely fantastic!!! Good food, neat fresh produce and some great shopping. Mack got some sweet "shoots" (shoe/boots).
Our delicious lunch. Possibly the best caprese salad to date.
The dreadful 8.5 hour flight. It would not have been half bad except for the eastern block man that had no manners and keep bumping Macks chair.
YEAH!
And these two love bird were on the flight too.
Four years ago we stood in this very position on our honeymoon. Wow how things have changed. And I appreciate every second of it!
Our first night on the docks at Papeeta. We had really good crepes. Banana, nutella and some really fresh vanilla ice cream.
First day in Raitea. It was so pretty clear water and amazing weather.
Bri, Me, and Meg
on our way to snorkel around a coral drift. The Coral was beautiful and there was a ton of neat fish and scary urchins.
Taa'ah (not sure how to spell) we spent the day on this cool motu where we drank Pina Coladas and played volleyball for hours.
Bora Bora
This Island was incredible. The water was some thing I've never seen before every shade of teal, turquoise and blue. We took wave runners around the whole island and learned how to shave a coconut and extract the milk.
Bora Bora
Dinner at the Grill. It was a restaurant on the top of the boat. It was really really hot(no a/c) But the company was well worth it.
Kimble, Kara + one, Randy, Bri, Kerry, Eunice, Meg + one, Bryce, Me and Mackay
Kara, Me and Bri
Mack swimming with rays and sharks in Bora Bora. He really has no fear of the water unlike his wife who is a lot more hesitant.
Sailing out of Bora Bora. It was so beautiful.
Sailing out of Bora Bora
We road scooters up to this look out of cooks bay on Moorea. It was cool we could see two bays one where our boat was docked.
The Girls
Kara, Me, Meg, Eunice, Bri
Literally the "Girls" Meg and Kara are both having little sweeties
Meg and Bryce, Bri and Randy, Scooting through Moorea
Peter the guy who drank his weight in Hinano drilling holes in the strand of pearls that Mackay bought me. They are incredible. I got to hand pick each pearl. It was a really neat experience.
Sunset in Moorea
The Girls wearing our new pearls on Tahitian night.
Our last night in Tahiti.
What a great experience. Thank you Kerry and Eunice for letting us come with you! Thank you all for the great memories and the few days Mackay and I got to reconnect again. I loved every minute.
